Pink Lady® Europe is committed to reducing energy costs and saving water by using high-performance equipment, both in the orchards and packing stations.

Promoting biodiversity is a priority, thanks in particular to the Bee Pink® programme, the integration of agro-ecological infrastructures in or around our orchards (hedges, ponds, nesting boxes, etc.) and experiments carried out with the French League for the Protection of Birds.

The Pink Lady® Europe association is fighting against single-use plastics with a range of 100% cardboard punnets, and by opting for compostable or recyclable materials.

Zero waste

The fight against waste is encouraged to get the most out of every single apple harvested. Small-calibre, quality Pink Lady® apples are marketed under the PinKids® brand for children. Unselected apples are used in food processing industries to make quality products: apple juice, compote, etc.

Pink Lady® Europe promotes best practices through training and certification to guarantee the health and safety of workers in orchards and packing stations.

Transparency throughout the network

As with our Adopt-a-Tree campaign, we are committed to increasing the number of points of contact between our growers and yourselves, so that you may find out about our network with complete transparency!

Our farms

All our farms are certified by GLOBALG.A.P. standards, which guarantee the implementation of best agricultural practices, as well as by the Risk Assessment on Social Practice (GRASP) insurance add-on, that guarantees the health and safety of workers.

Our packing stations

Our packing stations have the most stringent certifications for employee health and safety and labour standards (SMETA 2P) and regarding food safety (IFS or BRC).

Our 14-commitment charter involves all members of the Pink Lady® Europe association in a continuous improvement process, towards increasingly sustainable, quality production that meets consumer expectations. It integrates the 3 pillars of sustainable development (environmental, social and economic).
